DMMMSU and QAD conduct monitoring and evaluation of the E-APPS Project.

The Campus Extension Unit of DMMMSU-MLUC conducted monitoring and evaluation of the implemented extension project entitled “E-APPS” of the College of Information in cooperation with the Quality Assurance Division. The monitoring team visited the Schools Division Offices and selected Private Schools in the entire Region 1 (La Union, Pangasinan, Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte). The activity aims to evaluate the project’s success and to identify issues and concerns encountered in the implementation of the said project. The team also discussed new features and software updates of the implemented project.

 

With the E-APPS, submission of applications is more convenient, save more office supply, less expenses and travel. Monitoring and tracking of their applications made easy and SDOs can easily evaluate/review applications anytime and anywhere therefore, they have more time to do other office works. In addition, the E-APPS is more convenient to use, easy to learn, easy to navigate and user friendly. Other problems encountered were address during the presentation/discussion of the E-APPS updates by the project team. Some end users requested for the reorientation of the said application specially for the new users of E-APPS and some new feature to consider such as integration of calendar on E-APPS, archiving of approved documents, online payment and tracking of their applications until releasing of their documents. Overall, majority of the users commends the success of implementation of the E-APPS.
