E-APS, now rolled-out in the SDOs

The E-Application for Private Schools (E-APS) and Records Management has been rolled-out in the Schools Division Offices (SDOs) through an orientation conducted last January ……and will now be ready for implementation soon after a Regional Memorandum will be released to the field.
The developed system in the DepEd Regional Office I through the initiative of Quality Assurance Division and Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU), will facilitate applications of private schools that include tuition fee, government permit, government recognition, special order, and school calendars and other requests of private schools.
The goal of the said project is to ensure timely and efficient delivery of regulatory and developmental services to private schools. Its objectives include the following: (1) facilitate processing of application of private schools on government permit to operate, government recognition and tuition fee application and (2) provide effective, efficient, and systematic records management system.
Series of activities were conducted prior the SDO-Rollout which was attended by the 14 SDOs in Region I in the early part of January this year. Among the conducted activities were Consultative-Workshops on the Development of E-Application for Private Schools and Records Management, Finalization, and Training on the Use of the System.
SDO San Fernando City and SDO La Union are the two pilot implementing divisions in the development of E-Application for Private Schools and Records Management. The Chiefs of the pilot SDOs, Information and Technology Officers (ITOs), M and E Specialists, and the School Heads of the implementing SDOs attended the scheduled activities in line with the E-Application for Private Schools and Records Management.
